We had a great weekend! We had 32 people show up for the Progressive Dinner. The food was exceptional... appitizers at the Hittner's, soup and salad at the Severs'... main course at the Bowles'... and dessert at the Schmidt's. I just about lost it all at the Schmidt's when I saw Greg C., Preston & Damon lick the bottom of Miles' foot. That was sick. I've heard of foot washing... but that was just wrong!
We also had a great Sunday morning listening to the Glancy family share about their experience in Mozambique, Africa. Nathan Glancy will be back with us on Wednesday night to talk about how he has shared the gospel to people in remote parts of the world. How does one begin to talk about God with a witch doctor who has 50 wives and hundreds of grandchildren? How do people respond to the Jesus film... when they've never seen a movie before? It will be a great evening. I hope you can make it.
