Hey... for those of you that care... we had a fun time playing basketball on Monday night. Although both teams played pretty well, it seems the competition was just too much for us. One of the highlights of the night was watching Liz Rogers. She made several shots, including a three pointer. She also tried to take a charge... but got called for a blocking foul. Greg Cruise also had a strong night. He fouled out the first week... but only had 4 fouls this week. Several other players had really good games... Kevin Bowles comes to mind. I think he scored about 8 or 10 points. Andrew Sullivan also scored a few in his game.

If you are able to come out and support our team, we would love to have your there on Monday nights. Fun times all around.

In other news, we have started a Bible study on Wednesday nights in our group meetings. We are going to working our way through the book of Luke in the New Testament. This week's lesson is over Luke 2:41-52. I'll have the study questions available to download every week if the dog eats your homework. I'm looking forward to getting into God's word with all of you. Let's get ready to rumble!!!
