This summer we did 3 backpacking trips, spending time with God in prayer, study of the Word, and enjoying fellowship, great food, hiking, raft-building/cruising, fishing, and so forth.

Two of the trips were shorter (2-3 days), and then we finished off the season with a 5-day retreat at Lake Pamelia in Mt Jefferson Wilderness Area. Rooted in prayer and God's Word, this was a great opportunity for us to get away from the busyness of our everyday lives to seek a deeper relationship with the Lord, while enjoying the beauty of His creation.

The cost for the trips was $5 per day for food, and $8-10 for gas.

At this time, we're looking forward to a snow-camping retreat, to be scheduled whenever the weather conditions are right. We're planning on going to a site with natural hotsprings, and complete solutide. It should be awesome. We'll be planning several more backpacking trips for this summer also.
