Women's Ministries exists to be a dynamic source of hope, support and encouragement to women who desire to know Christ as their Lord and Savior and to grow in their relationship to Him in faith and obedience. Our mission is to Love God - Love Each Other. Ministry opportunities include Bible studies, events, activities, and fellowship that will encourage, inspire, educate, and uplift women of all ages. We pray that every woman will find acceptance and experience a caring connection with other women.

Lunch With Jerri: Please check at the Women's Ministry counter for a monthly invitation to “Lunch With Jerri.” Space is limited to 10 ladies. Invitations will provide all the information regarding time and place.

Coffee With Jerri: Once a month, Jerri loves to kick back with a few ladies at the ‘Blue Pepper’ and enjoy a cup of coffee (or tea) and just have a great time of fellowship. Invitations are provided at the Women’s Ministry booth, so drop by and and check out when the next coffee time will be.

Bible Studies

Are you interested in meeting new friends and growing in God's word? Salem First offers many Bible study opportunities, from helpful topical studies to in-depth Bible studies.

Early Birds

Are you an early riser? Does "morning person " describe you? Then you'll enjoy this early morning time of prayer and Bible study using the work of Christian authors such as Charles and Luci Swindoll, Eugene Peterson, Lloyd Ogilvie, and Kay Arthur, to name a few.

Covenant Quilters

Time: Wednesday morning 9:30 am-1:00 pm

Telephone: 503.390.7524 You're invited to join a multi-generational fellowship to create beautiful quilts for others. Ability is not an issue. Enjoy learning, or share your expertise! The quilts produced are sold to raise money for various Christian ministries and missionaries. Be sure and stay for lunch.

Do you like to read? Have you ever wondered what someone else thinks about a book? Then, pick up the book of the month, read it, and attend a Literary Club meeting for a great book presentation and lively discussion. Drop by the Women's Ministries Counter in the Lobby and pick up this year's exciting book list. The Literary Club is for both men and women.

Serving Our Lord and Others (SOLO)

Serving Our Lord and Others is the mission of this group of single women of all ages. If you are a widow, divorced, or single by choice and would like to have fellowship with other single women, as well as share in ministry projects, then SOLO is the group for you.
